  14. I had many problems when I had my modem on COM2 and mouse on COM1.  Then
  15. I swithced them (and reconfigured them properly) so the modem is on COM1
  16. and the mouse is on COM2.  This miraculously solved my problems.  It is
  17. worth trying.
